Beringgis Hotel
Beringgis Estate is a 240 key eco resort, located in the coastal town of Beringgis, 15 kilometres from the city of Kota Kinabalu. The resort comprises a main mid-rise block and sea villas which stretch out over the South China Sea, over 2 phases of construction.
Water Villages
The main hotel block is composed of 7 interconnected volumes, taking its cue from the character and communal configuration of water villages found along the coast Sabah. The gaps between these volumes, bridged by linkways, provide cross ventilation and connect the inside with the surrounding landscape. In the same spirit, the forms are elevated from the ground to allow for unobstructed views through to the sea.
